Hey, everybody, good afternoon. I want to give you a real estate tip on how to get out of your comfort zone, get out of wherever you are at, and get out and learn new things.
Right here, we have a new class. Here is Jackie over here, the teacher, and a new crop of agents here joining the company. Happy to have you all here. I want to talk to all of you about how to get yourself out there, get to real estate events, locally, in your state, in your town, nationally. I can’t say “internationally”, I’ve never done one internationally. Oh, Canada? Wait, I have gone to Canada, that’s international.
I just wanted to talk about this because I meet so many realtors throughout the course of my day, throughout the course of my life, friends from all over the place. So many hesitate, so many pause so much when it comes to spending a little bit of money to find out about something new they may learn. I think back to when I started in the business, I just went to places. I heard about a conference that I thought would be good– I distinctly remember going to one in Palmdale in California in 2005. Craig Proctor conference, by the way. Craig, good conference. I didn’t know a single person. Flew out there, all the way there. I think by that time I’d sold maybe 10 houses, learned some things and got started.
My message to you all is, don’t be scared, get out there, get in the plane, travel and learn new things. Thanks, everybody. Have a great day. Everybody say, “Bye”.
