Anthony: March is finally here, finally, after a long winter, a slow winter after the pandemic went nuts at the beginning of the winter, we’re finally breaking out of it, listings are coming on, buyers are obviously out in droves and now there’s going to be more product, more homes for sale to show them. Anthony Lamacchia here with Crush it in real Estate. I just wanted to see you all. I wanted to get a quick message out actually earlier this week, but I lost my voice and I wanted to talk to you about the activities, the daily routines. What are you doing? I was looking at this, just walking by. It says the rent is due. Success is never owned, it is only rented and the rent is due every single day.
Folks, I know it’s been a long winter. I know there’s a lot of winter blues going on out there because of the virus going crazy during the winter, cold temperatures. I think I heard it’s the coldest winter in seven years. Oh well, enough with the excuses. Things are way better. March is here. It’s time to be in action. Phones are ringing, so what? Let’s go folks, be on offense, call your clients, get with your buyer leads, get with sellers, show them, don’t just tell them, why it is better for them to list sooner.
Think about that. Every day throughout the year, no matter what market, there’s a few more sellers and there’s a little bit more competition every single day. So the sooner sellers list, the better off they are. Buyers, yes, they’re frustrated. Explain to them what’s going on, show them the inventory. Don’t just tell them. Get them in a position so that they are ready to strike so that they’re ready to pounce when the right home comes up. Talk to them about that.
Talk to them about not just getting an updated pre-approval, but a pre-commitment. Talk to them about needing to be willing to run out and see a property on a short notice. Talk to them about all the things that will help them get an advantage. It is game on folks. Right now, 2022 is going to really kick into gear at this time. Mark my words, this will be one of the biggest years ever for total home sales. Last year in ’21 was the biggest year in 15 years. We’re going to be right around there. 5.7 to 6 million sales nationally. Look at Massachusetts, we’re going to be right around 100,000 sales again, and you can have a lot of those sales if you are paying the rent that’s due every day, folks. Have a great day. Happy home selling.
