My favorite part of my job is typically seeing how excited a buyer is when they close on their home. It just makes your whole day, and knowing that you had something to do with that, you had something to do with their comfort level, really is an incredible feeling. I chose Lamacchia Realty because I knew they offered a lot of training. Training was once a year at a lot of the companies that I talked to, and when you’re getting out in the real estate field, you need a lot more training than that. It’s a differentiator as to how we are in the business world versus other agents. You’re a professional.
The training is every week, and it can be more. It could be multiple times a week. You go through a lot of role-playing, and everybody’s just there, like I said, to help you succeed. The team at Lamacchia Realty is really incredible. They all want to succeed with you, and they all want to help you succeed. They are always there to answer your questions. No question is stupid. They’ve all been through it. It’s just fantastic to know that you have other people that you can work with and rely on. If you have a question, you call them, and they’re never too busy for you.
They’ve helped me grow my business by helping us set realistic goals and maybe even goals that are necessarily realistic but suddenly you can actually hit them. They teach you how to get where you want to go, and they target what’s most important to you, and what you should be focusing on to get to that point. It’s just completely different from other brokerages where nobody’s here to help you. I just feel like they want to see you grow as much as they possibly can, and they always advise you on how you can reach those goals that you might have but you think are pipedreams, and then, all the sudden you’re hitting them, and then, you might be doubling your goals. I just like that the possibilities are endless here.
As far as advice would go for new agents who want to join the business, I would suggest doing it full time. I know it’s so scary because you might not be making any money for the first few months, but if you just throw yourself out there and you go to the right company that’s going to train you, Lamacchia Realty, you will start doing business way sooner than you ever anticipated.
