Social media is a fantastic and cheap tool for marketing yourself and your business. However, you want to make sure your doing it the wright way to be completely effective. 

Here are 3 things you can do to make this happen:

1. Listen & learn from your clients

You are the one your clients are voicing their concerns and fears to so use that on social media to help educate others. There are always people in a classroom who don’t want to be the one to ask the questions so be the one to address their worries before they even know it’s a worry of theirs!

2. Educate & Entertain

Once you know what concerns they have, educate them on it. Pull reports or data, explain why something is happening or not happening, post about it or write a blog. This is where you can show your knowledge of the market and of the buying and selling processes. But, make sure to do this is an entertaining way! Get creative!

3. Engage

Just because you post a blog or information on social media doesn’t mean your job is done. You need to engage people. Answer their questions or respond back to them if they comment on your post. You want there to be a dialogue back and forth.

We like to focus on what you should DO, but there is one thing you should NOT DO and that is sell. Stop selling! Stop saying, “If you want to buy or sell, call me!” You are not showing your value by writing those types of things. Providing solid content on things that they want to learn more about or what they have fears about will make you more effective on social media, guaranteed!
